Our Story
Founded in Samsun, Turkey in 2013 by architect Arife Gizem Çolak, Next Plaza opened its second office in Florida two years ago. The firm was built on a design philosophy where physical context, time, construction economy and the needs of the user are addressed in parallel — under correct, aesthetic and scientific principles.
Free from the pressure of passing trends, the firm pursues a contemporary, technological approach that is sensitive to the city and the environment. Over more than a decade, this discipline has been proven across a broad range of scales and building types.
Today, Next Plaza works across Florida on residential, commercial and mixed-use projects — in design, development and delivery — continuing an active pipeline with the confidence of an established firm.
Back home, Samsun is known as “the Miami of Turkey.” Maybe that’s why, on one of her trips abroad, our architect fell for the real Miami — and chose it for the second office, and for life.
